PHILADELPHIA, PA. (www.theyoungwerewolves.com) - Recently praised as one of the hippest regional bands by the city's top alternative weekly newspaper and fresh off the heels of signing a licensing agreement with MTV's Bunim/Murray Productions for music placement in the network?s reality television programming, The Young Werewolves are eager to take their act to one of Philly's trendiest neighborhoods and to get their music on modern rock radio.

"We've recently been getting airplay overseas and on Canadian radio," guitarist Nick Falcon stated. "Our 'big' local break in radio came two years ago when we recorded the theme music for one of the contestants in 610 WIP Sports Radio's infamous Wing Bowl. We're excited to finally hit the local FM airwaves."

The Grape Street Pub has been a staple in the Philadelphia original music scene for over 10 years. Recognized for being one of the best live music venues along the Northeast corridor, the Grape Street Pub has played host to nationally recognized recording artists and others who are garnering industry attention.

Clawing their way out of Transylvania, errr...Pennsylvania, The Young Werewolves have been tearing up the original music scene in Philadelphia, packing the city's night clubs and gaining an international following on the wings of their debut CD.

The Young Werewolves blend the styles of rockabilly, psychobilly, surf, punk, garage and pop music into an infectious mix, unfolding the true roots of rock and roll and creating a timeless, classic sound.
