CLEVELAND, OH. (VISIBLE LYRICS RECORDS/ www.visiblelyrics.com) - Artists across the United States and Canada have been chosen for the double CD soundtrack to the independent film Man Cry www.mancrythemovie.com . Visible Lyrics is posting the names of all artists chosen for the soundtrack on the labels website www.visiblelyrics.com. There you can see artists representing areas such as Florida, Kansas, Toronto, California, and both of the Carolinas. Once the final list was compiled by the A&R department, CEO Lolita Darlese Swain aka Lollipop contacted each artist personally. 'Everyone seems extremely excited about this project, and that makes me very happy. This means each artist will be giving one hundred and ten percent.' Lolly also says. 'Of course we chose artists from our home town. One of the hottest rock groups here, Dirt, will be on the soundtrack. Rappers from Cleveland include Pheonix Jones who has just relocated to Atlanta, Eric Wilson, and Jay-Kool'. In September 2004, Visible Lyrics invited artists around the world to submit their demos for consideration. James Spencer, the A&R Director for Visible Lyrics says, 'There were a lot of talented artists who submitted their work. But we had to also base things on if their sound and image fit the concept or not.' Scheduled for release in November 2005, the double CD is comprised of disc one titled 'Storm', and disc two tilted 'Serenity'. For more information contact us (216) 751-4500.
