LOS ANGELES (Geffen Records) - Over the past decade, Papa Roach went from playing back-alley clubs to major arenas and stadiums. Now, the quartet heads to a part of the world they have never been -- South Korea.

Said Papa Roach lead singer Jacoby Shaddix, "I know what it's like to be away from home for a long time. It's cool for us to be able to do this for the soldiers and families on our bases in South Korea."

Over 35,000 US personnel are stationed in South Korea. In order to perform for as many people as possible, the band has scheduled concerts and autograph sessions at the following bases. The shows are free for active duty military, military retirees, high school dependents and Korean locals with Military ID.

Tour dates are as follows:
Camp Walker JAN 25
Yongsan Garrison* JAN 27
* U.S. headquarters in South Korea.
Camp Stanley JAN 28
Camp Casey JAN 29
Camp Humphries JAN 30

Papa Roach's new Geffen CD "Getting Away With Murder" arrived in stores September '04 and premiered at No 17 on "The Billboard 200" chart with sales in excess of 50,000. The CD has since sold over 325,000 copies.

The band's debut single "Murder" was No 1 for seven weeks straight at Active Rock radio as well as No 2 at Modern Rock radio. The band's new single, "Scars," added to the buzz by emerging as No 1 Most Added on the Modern Rock, Active Rock and Mainstream Rock charts. Once it was added to play lists, it moved to the top of the charts where it currently remains.

The band recently performed "Getting Away With Murder" on "The Late, Late Show" and will perform "Scars" on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on January 12th.

Formed in Northern California in 1993, Papa Roach is comprised of Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Dave Buckner, and Tobin Esperance. They made their recording debut with the 1994 EP "Potatoes For Christmas" followed by their full-length debut "Old Friends From Young Years" and two more indie EP's. When they released their second full-length CD "Infest" in 2000, all hell broke loose. The album went triple-platinum, powered by the mega-hit single "Last Resort." With their 2002 CD, "lovehatetragedy," the band scored a No 2 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and a coveted slot on Eminem's Anger Management Tour.
