The Onion And The AV Club Invade Austin For 'Just Another Manic Monday' Party Presented By GoDaddy
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Onion, Inc.) America's Finest News Source, The Onion, and pop-culture sister publication, The A.V. Club, return to Austin Monday, March 13 for the greatest SXSW-adjacent party of 2017, Just Another Manic Monday, presented by GoDaddy Inc., the world's largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures.

The free event, held at Mohawk Austin, will feature over a dozen bands performing on two stages throughout the night, including Sylvan Esso, SOHN, Noname, Lizzo, and Mothers.

Electro-pop duo Sylvan Esso will close the show on Mohawk's outdoor stage, hot on the heels of an amazing new single. They'll be immediately preceded by SOHN, whose chill electronic vibes sparkle live. Earlier in the night, catch two blowing-up female hip-hop artists, Chicago's Noname and Minneapolis' Lizzo, who you'll be hearing a lot about in 2017.

Inside on Mohawk's more intimate stage, we've got Mothers, making a return appearance from last year's party, as well as Austin's own incredible Adam Torres, and Chicago's Split Single, led by Jason Narducy of Superchunk and Bob Mould's band.

Presenting sponsor GoDaddy teams up with The Onion and A.V. Club for a night of outstanding shows following the success of its 2017 Super Bowl commercial.

Kicking off a long-term campaign in promotion for GoDaddy's innovative new service, GoCentral, the Super Bowl spot introduced the world to a new character who personifies the Internet and reinforced that no one knows the Internet like GoDaddy.

Onion, Inc.'s creative services division, Onion Labs, will extend the campaign and continue the story of GoDaddy's "Internet" character through a video series where we see the Internet being interviewed about his tell-all memoir, "My Life as the Internet".

Doors will open at 3:30 p.m., and while the event is free, space is limited. All ages are welcome. Please note that Bash & Pop—featuring Tommy Stinson of The Replacements—is playing on the early side, so we're expecting some early crowds. See below for the full lineup (all times are CST).
