NEW YORK (AP) - Tool has announced an extra week's worth of dates tacked on to the current leg of their North American arena tour. The band is sandwiching in five more shows in six days, including four back-to-back performances in the Pacific Northwest. The new dates are: Nov. 5, Spokane, Wash., Spokane Arena; Nov. 6, Portland, Ore., Portland Memorial Coliseum; Nov. 7, Vancouver, B.C., GM Place; Nov. 8, Tacoma, Wash., Tacoma Dome; and Nov. 10, Honolulu, Hawaii, Andrew's Amphitheatre. All shows feature Tricky as the opener, except for Hawaii where Tool will perform alone. Tool will be breaking for a month after the Hawaii show to work on a new video for the song "Parabola," according to a band spokesperson. In true Tool fashion, the video will be "constructed" more so than "shot" with the group's graphically inclined Adam Jones at the helm. It's not expected to see the light of day until next year.
