
NEW YORK (Roc-A-Fella Records) - In response to the recent Tsunami tragedy Joe's Pub, The Bloom Effect, CJR Entertainment and Wildseed Communications will hold "Relief and Recovery!" a benefit to raise funds for the American Red Cross International Response Fund.
The benefit will raise much needed funds for the AMERICAN RED CROSS to provide medication, food, clothing, shelter and more to the Tsunami victims tragically effected by the recent Tsunami disaster.
The "Relief & Recovery" event will begin at 11:00 PM on Wednesday January 12, 2005 at Joe's Pub, 425 Lafayette Street, NYC, a long established part of the exciting, culturally rich, and happening downtown entertainment district that makes New York City the truly special place it is.
There will be a variety of things happening at the event, including great give-a ways and sponsorship from Wildseed Communications, Warner Bros., TRACE Magazine, Room Service, Spitkicker, TRACE, H20 Education A Kevin Powell Co., Lola and E Man, Hudson Punch, , Verve Music Group, Palm Pictures, Room Service, and Allhiphop.com.
Raffle tickets for gift certificates from Joe's Pub, Knicks vs. Bulls tickets, sports memorabilia,dinner for two at Tri Collore' and more will also be sold at the event.
Headlining the performances are M.O.P. "M.O.P is proud to be a part of this very special event," says Laze Elliot," longtime manager of the legendary hip-hop group. "It's the least we can do to show love and support for the victims of this great tragedy."

With additional performances by PetelShot, Nervous System, SUM(Vinyl Junkies), Sparlha Swa, J. Period, Shannone Holt,ANATH, Ralph McDaniels(Video Music Box), DJ Eleven, DJ Monie(UBIQITA), KnockOutKingz(Spitkicker), U.S. and other surprise appearances donating their time and talents this is sure to be a legendary night!
The "Relief and Recovery!" event is open to the public, so feel free to bring along friends and colleagues and let others know about it. Over 350+ people are expected to come out and support what will be a dynamic event for a very necessary cause.
A minimum $15 donation is required for general admission.
THE GOAL is to raise enough money to increase the number of people that receives necessary assistance, to increase awareness among the community and support the organization that serves them. JOE'S PUB will donate 100% of ticket sales on the evening of Wednesday, January 12, 2005 to the American Red Cross International Response Fund.
