New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Tragic Hero Records is proud to announce the signing of Canadian metalcore band, The Northern. The band fuses together djent and metalcore and is the perfect addition to the THR roster. The band couldn't be more excited to have a home at the label, "The Northern has grown in exponential ways over the course of time and we feel Tragic Hero will be the perfect family for us and our current goals both in what we want to play musically and in what we are striving to be as a whole."

In addition to the signing, the band premiered the first single, "Nauticus", off their upcoming album (out 1/27/2017). The track features Michael Labelle (A Skylit Drive/Horcrux) and Guitarist Eric Leblanc explains the importance of the single, "Nauticus fully encompasses the entirety of our collective musical personality. We wanted to take the best of what's new and the best of what we love to evolve and shape our sound into what you hear in Nauticus and the album [Solstice]."
