Jazz Super Group, Pieces Of A Dream, Under New Management

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jazz Super Group, Pieces Of A Dream agreed earlier this year to select Baltimore Native, Gar Roberts to head up the groups management duties. The music collective is excited to have Roberts on board. Roberts has worked with the group for over 25 years as a member of their management team, where he worked on special projects, and for five releases, was Executive Producer, Production Coordinator, and handled all administrative details regarding the groups' recordings.

Gar worked as tour manager for many artists including, but not limited to, Roy Ayers, Jean Carne, Teddy Pendergrass and Lonnie Liston Smith. In addition to his impressive music career, Gar has a background in marketing. He has worked as regional promotions director for; 25 West & Jam Power Records, then Roberts was named National Promotions Director for Jam Records where he worked with such artist as: Phil Upchurch, Jimmy McGriff, Les McCann, and others, Gar was co-founder of Startrak Records where he performed the duty of Head of Artists and Repertoire (A&R), and coordinated all national marketing and promotions.

Gar, who has a passion for music that shows in his managerial work ethic as he takes on many additional tasks and goes above and beyond the call of duty. " I'm excited to take on this responsibility,"They are so awesome, not only musically, but also personally".
