New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sumthing Else
Music Works, the premier record label dedicated to releasing video game soundtracks, and Ubisoft, proudly present the CD release of the original soundtrack to Eagle Flight™, a virtual reality game that sends players to the skies of Paris to experience the freedom of flying. The music is composed by three-time BAFTA-nominated composer Inon Zur (Fallout 3 and Fallout 4) renowned for his memorable themes and cinematic ethnic scores on games such as the
Prince of Persia series. The Eagle Flight soundtrack is now available for digital download from https://www.sumthing.com and the CD will be available in stores on November 18.
Inon Zur's soaring and uplifting score for Eagle Flight combines ethnic influences, driving percussion and powerful orchestral writing, and features the ethereal voices of Aeralie Brighton and Mimi Page. "Inon's immense creative energy is ever present in this score," said Benedicte Ouimet, music supervisor. "He captures the thrill of flying and the awe of our poetic Paris with brio. Whether players soar or dive, chase or glide, Inon's music will carry players through this beautiful VR adventure."
Developed by a team from FunHouse, a division of Ubisoft Montreal, the game lets players become an eagle and fly over Paris and its iconic landmarks, 50 years after humans have left. Nature has taken back the city, creating a rich playground and offering an incredible experience of flight and adventure. The Eagle Flight team developed the game specifically for VR with a strong focus on accessibility and comfort. They created new technology that enables players to quickly master their skills in order to perform impressive stunts and experience the true sensation of flight.
