Fast Rising Singer/Songwriter Aubreylyn Set To Open East Coast Dates For Rasputina
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Lyrical neo-jazz" is a fitting description for Aubreylyn, the nineteen-year-old singer/songwriter and Bucks County, PA native. And the world will soon fall under her spell with the release of her forthcoming yet-to-be-titled album, as well as the singles "Portuguese" and "Motion R&B" - overseen by Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum engineer and producer David Ivory.

"I would describe my music as lyrical, neo jazz," explains Aubreylyn. "The lyrics are the most important part of my music when writing; I have experiences and stories to share. I like to have a lot of fun playing around with cultural motifs as well! Both musically and lyrically, I've used French, Spanish, and Mediterranean influences, and most recently, I've written a song with an Irish ballad bridge."

Citing Sara Bareillis, Melody Gardot, and "maybe a little" Elton John as stylistic comparisons, audiences will be introduced to the musical world of Aubreylyn on these upcoming December tour dates alongside Rasputina. "I'll be performing 3 new songs, stepping away from the piano for a bit, as well as making a little throw back to my days before I played with the strings, keeping some songs simple, with just me and my piano."

"My favorite track that I've released is 'Say la Vie.' It's one of the first songs I wrote, and it's where I really started to come into my own genre as a songwriter. Filming the lyric video for 'Say la Vie' was also an out of movie experience, just so much fun! It also quotes my mantra, 'Remember Rainbows follow Rain,' which is a huge part of my musical journey and my life in general." And lastly, how about Aubreylyn's future plans? "I'm really carving out a new life for myself in Montreal. A lot of new musical inspiration and opportunity, I really love the city as my new home. Future plans? Keep writing, keep performing, see what opportunities this tour drives ahead, but also keeping busy with school. I've already grown so much as a musician in the past year and a half, I'm really looking forward to see what kind of music I'll be making in the next 2 years!"

Undoubtedly, these December performances will serve as both musical inspiration and opportunity for this promising young artist.
