Big Deal Music Group Artists & Songwriters Earn CMA Award Nominations
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Everyone at Big Deal Music and Words And Music Administration would like to congratulate our CMA nominated writers, artists and partners" said Pete Robinson, Senior Vice President/GM of Big Deal Music Nashville. "We are all so honored and proud to be associated with such a talented group of people."

Big Deal Music songwriter Joe London is nominated (along with his cowriters Sean Douglas and Thomas Rhett) for the prestigious CMA Song Of The Year Award for their song "Die A Happy Man". Although not a songwriter or publisher award, "Die A Happy Man" is also nominated for Single Of The Year.

Brad Tursi is a Big Deal Music songwriter and also a member of new Sony Records group Old Dominion. Old Dominion is nominated for Vocal Group Of The Year and New Artist Of The Year. Tursi cowrote Old Dominion's hit songs "Break Up With Him", "Snapback" and "Song For Another Time" as well as the Kenny Chesney hit "Save It For A Rainy Day" and the hit by Tyler Farr, "Guy Walks Into A Bar".

Newly signed to Big Deal Music (through a joint venture with BMG) is songwriter, record producer and musician, busbee, nominated for Song of the Year with production and co-writing credits on Maren Morris' "My Church". Morris' album Hero, produced by busbee, was also nominated for Album of the Year.

Big Deal Music songs written by Brett Beavers, Dan Wilson (both published through a joint venture with BMG), Tursi and London appear on the current albums of several nominated artists including Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Rhett Akins, Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley and Maddie & Tae.

In the evenings preceding the CMA Awards, performing rights organizations Ascap and BMI will host their award events for Country songwriters. Big Deal's Beavers, Tursi and London are expected to receive song awards at the events.

2016 has been an exciting year for Big Deal Music. They recently acquired Words And Music Administration and moved into a new building one block from Vanderbilt University off Nashville's West End Avenue.
