The Roxy Sessions' From Acclaimed Vocalist Angela McCluskey
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) You guys, this is my favorite singer-songwriter check her out ! - Rosanne Barr
I cant stop listening to 'You and Me', the new single from my old Pal Angela McCluskey..Such a wonderful voice ! - Cyndi Lauper

The Roxy Sessions, by chart topping vocalist Angela McCluskey, is being released TODAY September 30th via Bernadette Records. Recently, Angela was heard on BIG GIGANTICs smash hit The Little Things, and has worked with Telepopmusik on several cuts, including the Grammy Nominated worldwide #1 hit, Breathe.

Now, the featured vocalist behind those massive hits is stepping into the spotlight with her new album, The Roxy Sessions. Angela was inspired to salute the decadent nostalgia of the prohibition era after recording a track for the HBO hit show Boardwalk Empire. Using the roaring 20s as their muse, Angela along with her producer and collaborator, Kiran Shahani (Bitter:sweet, Supreme Beings of Leisure) added a modern beat and fashioned an addictive blend of electro swing for the album.

Prior to her solo career, Angela was signed to Geffen Records and toured extensively with Wild Colonials before joining French electronic trio Telepopmusik with whom she wrote and recorded Breathe as well as Don't Look Back which is sampled heavily by Kendrick Lamar for his track Is it Love? Her dance cut In The Air, with Morgan Page, went to number #1 on the Billboard Dance charts and she also collaborated with Electro Swing king Parov Stelar on Don't Believe What They Say and Paul Oakenfold on You Could Be Happy.

As heard on KCRW, Sirius XM Sandyland, OUTSpoken Radio, ON THE ROCKS, Little Water Radio, and more...

"Angela is an incredible juxtaposition of the greats: Beth Gibbons, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone" - The Guardian

"McCluskeys soulful voice, through which the ghost of Billie Holiday speaks - LA Weekly

"The Roxy Sessions, recorded in a suite at New Yorks Roxy Hotel, is a gorgeously produced collection of moody swing and bouncy dance pop.." - Blast Echo

"I sense shades of Amy Winehouse, Duffy, and Melody Gardot.

These are all good things. - Top40-Charts.com
