New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New York young rockers Major Crush have released the first video from their forthcoming debut CD Trophy Kids for the single You Aint A Saint.
The full-length record will be released on July 29th through their own label imprint Bonfire On The Beach.
Major Crush was formed in 2016 from the ashes of Nasty Habit, a band of upstate New York teenagers known for their neo-hair metal sound and look. Nasty Habit built up a rabid underground following of over 11K Facebook fans through their over-the-top videos and extensive touring.
Major Crush has taken the sound of Nasty Habit and expanded on it with a much more contemporary production style, while still incorporating the ripping guitars and big harmonies that Nasty Habit was known for.
Major Crushs music could be described as equal parts Van Halen, Def Leppard, Fall Out Boy and 5 Seconds of Summer.
Brothers Kenny (guitars) and Tommy Ende (vocals) started the band in 2010 while in their early teens growing up in Seneca Falls, New York after they discovered hair metal was great music to skateboard to. Kenny (who is considered by many in the know to be one of the best young guitar players in rock music) learned the whole Van Halen catalog on guitar by the time he was 16.
Now in their early 20s, the Ende brothers (along with bass player Frank Wheeler and drummer Brandon Young) are set to release Trophy Kids a record with a familiar-yet-fresh sound that they believe is sorely missing in todays rock/pop world. The band will be touring to support the release throughout 2016 and into 2017.
