Kinky Returns To Their Electronic Roots With New Single "Desaparecer"
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts) After the highly successful Unplugged album and tour, the fice-piece band Kinky returns to the music scene premiering a new single entitled "Desaparecer" [Disappear] now globally available in digital format. The song was produced by Kinky, mixed by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Depeche Mode, M83) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Gorillaz, Nirvana, The Killers) in Los Angeles, California.

"Desaparecer", released in U.S. by Seitrack, is a track that has already proven successful when played live in the band's recent shows, receiving great feedback from their fans and positive reviews from the media. The official video for song will be released next July 29 through Vevo.

Kinky is considered as one of the pillars of what is called the "Avanzada Regia", a generation of bands that successfully emerged in Monterrey, Mexico in the beginning of the millennium; and has brought together a huge and dedicated international audience throughout their 17 years of career and seven albums in their discography, which have earned them ten Latin Grammy nominations and one Grammy nomination, among plenty of other international prestigious nominations.

The enormous popularity of the group is palpable in each of their energetic live performances, which have been highlighted in the most important and diverse festivals throughout the world, including Coachella, Bumbershoot, Austin City Limits, Central Park Summerstage, Outside Lands, Bang! Music Festival, Voodoo Festival, KCRW Fest, Rock al Parque, Vive Latino, Pa'l Norte and Corona Music Fest, among many others.

Formed by Gil Cerezo (vocalist), Carlos Chairez (guitar), Omar Gngora (drums and percussion), Ulises Lozano (keyboards, programming and accordion) and Csar Pliego (bass), Kinky is a band that has little play on commercial radio, but has music consistently used in numerous major films and TV series, video games and commercials of various brands for television.
