New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Scott Stapp, founding member and lead vocalist of the American hard rock band Creed, is bringing his post-grunge movement to the SugarHouse Casino Event Center on July 9 at 9 p.m. Tickets go on sale today.
Grammy Award-winner Stapp began his career when he and childhood friend Mark
Tremonti took their friendship and mutual passion for music and formed Creed. Stapp went on to release two albums and nine singles as a solo artist.
"Scott Stapp's legendary accomplishments precede him, giving way to a show that will surely be a treat for guests," said Wendy Hamilton, general manager of SugarHouse Casino.
In 2013, Stapp released his most recent album "Proof of Life." This is Stapp's first album since the release of "
The Great Divide" in 2005. Stapp's work chronicles his journey and growth over the years, which has contributed to Stapp's changing sound as an artist.
Tickets for Stapp's show can be purchased online at www.sugarhousecasino.com starting today. The cost is $35 per ticket.
Stapp's appearance follows a sold-out performance by "Daily Show" host Trevor Noah in the brand-new Event Center. Tickets to see Don Felder, former guitarist of The Eagles, on May 29 are still available at www.sugarhousecasino.com.
The Event Center is part of SugarHouse's 2016 expansion rollout, with an expanded gaming floor and seven new food and beverage outlets. In addition to music performances, The Event Center can be utilized for a variety of other occasions, including weddings, corporate receptions, seminars, tradeshows and more.
