Music Publishing has extended its worldwide deal with Grammy-winning and Golden
Globe nominated songwriter and producer Joel Little.
The new long-term agreement covers his contributions to Lorde�s multi-million-selling debut album Pure Heroine, which he co-wrote and produced, as well as his work with artists including Sam Smith,
Ellie Goulding and Broods. It also takes in future compositions.

Little is a New Zealand songwriter, musician and record producer who began his career as the singer and guitarist of Auckland act
Goodnight Nurse before working as a co-writer and producer for band colleague Sam McCarthy�s new group Kids of 88.
He launched his own production studio called Golden Age in Auckland in 2011 and began working with local singer-songwriter Ella Yelich-O'Connor a.k.a. Lorde. He co-wrote and produced The Love Club EP, including the songs �Royals� and �Tennis Court�, which were both subsequently included on her debut album Pure Heroine.
Having reached No. 1 in New Zealand, �Royals� went on to become a hit around the world, including in the U.S. where it topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for nine weeks in 2013 and spent 23 weeks in the Top 10. It also reached No. 1 in the U.K. and sold more than 10 million downloads globally, while at the 56th annual Grammy Awards held in 2014 was named Song of the Year.
Lorde achieved a second U.S. Top 10 single with �Team� and it was included on the album Pure Heroine, which was co-written and produced by
Little and released worldwide in
September 2013. The Grammy-nominated album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. where it has been certified by the RIAA for 2 million sales, became a U.K. top five hit and was one of the 10 biggest-selling albums worldwide of 2014, according to IFPI.
Little further collaborated with
Lorde on songs for the soundtrack of the movie Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1, including �Yellow Flicker Beat�, which was shortlisted as Best Original Song at the 72nd Golden
Globe Awards held in 2015. He is now working on her second studio album.
He has also worked with multi Grammy winner Sam Smith, co-writing with him the song �Reminds Me Of You�, which appeared on a
Deluxe Edition of Smith�s global No. 1 album In The Lonely Hour. He co-penned two songs for Ellie Goulding�s 2015 album Delirium, which reached No. 3 in both the U.S. and U.K., while other acts he has written with include the New Zealand band Broods, former
