Second Annual Floodfest Returns To Austin
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / FLOOD Magazine) FLOOD Magazine (www.FLOODmagazine.com) announced today the second annual FLOODfest Austin, featuring four days and three nights of music Wednesday, March 16 through Saturday, March 19, 2016. Hosted at the popular and centrally located Cedar Street Courtyard, FLOODfest Austin will present some of the industry's biggest names like Vince Staples, Ra Ra Riot, MSTRKRFT, Poli�a and Peaches as well as buzzed-about up-and-comers Grace Mitchell, Hinds, Gallant, XYL�, and many more. FLOOD will be hosting daytime shows Wednesday, March 16 through Saturday, March 19, and evening shows Wednesday, March 16 through Friday, March 18. FLOODfest Austin is partnering with Red Light Management, Paradigm Talent Agency, and Domino Records for its daytime shows, while night shows will be official SXSW showcases. FLOODfest Austin sponsors include title sponsor DTS, Inc., a global leader in audio technology, Original Penguin, Ernie Ball, HAUFE, Sailor Jerry, and Serato Pyro, a free iOS app by Serato that seamlessly mixes music for uninterrupted listening.

DTS will also host DTS Space Austin for FLOODfest's VIP guests at Isla Restaurant, next door to Cedar Street Courtyard. DTS Space Austin is an extension of the DTS Space LA monthly event series at FLOOD Gallery that celebrates sound in the creative arts to guests who recognize and appreciate innovation through creative expression.

Additionally, renowned Los Angeles-based public radio station KCRW will be broadcasting live from FLOODfest Austin. Iconic tastemaker Jason Bentley of Morning Becomes Eclectic and DJ Anne Litt of the eponymous Anne Litt afternoon music program will co-host broadcasts on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19, offering music fans nationwide a line into the festival.

FLOODfest will also treat attendees to international showcases featuring bands from The Netherlands, Ireland, Sweden, and Mexico. Additionally, bands nationwide entered Ernie Ball's PLAY FLOODfest competition for a chance to win an all-expense paid trip to Austin to perform at FLOODfest; winner to be announced shortly.
