NEW YORK (RoadRunner Records) - So, this past weekend our very own Marketing Matt made the trip across the Atlantic to check out Machine Head live at the Academy (Brixton) in London. It was Sunday night (12/05), and the show was shot for inclusion in the band's upcoming DVD (coming 2005). What to say of the show? A conversation with Marketing Matt this morning produced the following quotes:

"It was awesome...it was a trip, man...the show was amazing..." All actual quotes.

Word has it that the crowd outside the venue before the show wrapped around the entire block to where the front of the line was facing the back of the line.

What else to say from the show? Apparently Sunday night's show marked the first time MH ever used pyro live. As well, the band finished off the night playing encores of Sepultura, Pantera, and Metallica tracks.
