VANCOUVER, BC (Top40 Charts) OLUWA TONI's debut single, 'FLY TO L.A.' (raw version) was released on July 1st, 2015. The song is now available on iTunes, TIDAL, Spotify, and other digital platforms. The New Music Video with an 'ultimate version' is now available on YouTube - with a really catchy rhythm and funny ending. The ultimate version will be available in online stores shortly. "My song is a thanksgiving letter for living in my new home city, Vancouver, BC in Canada. It's a city of my dreams -- a truly beautiful, multicultural city. We're pretty close to cities in U.S. like Los Angeles which is just about three hours by air. These are cities I dreamt to visit as a kid growing up in Africa. And honestly I haven't been to L.A. yet. It's still a dream for me. To perform live at the Grammy's in L.A. one day; that's another separate dream. I'm a dreamer," OLUWA TONI says.
Musical Influences:
OLUWA TONI describes his debut single as a blend of afrobeat, hip pop, reggae music altogether. Toni (as he is mostly called) plays the piano and african drums. "I also like the saxophone and trumpet a lot. That's the difference between the version I initially released in July and the new ultimate version. You have more african drums and sax now and that's closer to the sound you get when I show up live." His list of favorite artists include Damian Marley, Chris Brown, The Weeknd, Drake, Wizkid, and Kanye West. "Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Don Moen and late Michael Jackson are also on my favorites list."

The Future
On what's next, Toni says you can expect more in the nearest future. "I am now working on a new single you would probably like. And if you like my music please share it with the world. Music and dancing especially have been very therapeutic for me in my rough times." OLUWA TONI is currently not signed to any record label. He is hoping to be discovered by one as soon as possible -- to help develop his newly found entertainment talent and career. He has painfully self-funded the debut single production and promotion thus far and admits that he is spread thin already. "I desire to work with a record label moving forward," he says.
