Ted Drozdowski's Scissormen Working With Road Warrior Booking
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ted Drozdowski's Scissormen are now working with the Road Warrior Agency for 2016 festivals and other major bookings. The affiliation with Road Warrior is part of a banner year for the vocalist, guitarist, songwriter and producer, and his trio.
Following the release of their new album Love & Life, Ted Drozdowski's Scissormen have been on the road expanding their substantial fan base and garnering extensive airplay on Sirius/XM's B.B. King's Bluesville (plus a live appearance on Road Dog Radio) and other broadcast outlets. In addition to media raves and partnerships with a wide variety of publications including Pollstar, Living Blues, American Blues News, Blues Music Magazine, The Memphis Commercial Appeal, AllMusic.com, The Boston Globe and NoiseTrade, Ted and Scissormen are the subject of a four-page feature in the December issue of Guitar Player Magazine (see link to story below).
Also, the Nashville Blue Society has chosen Love & Life to represent Music City in the International Blues Challenge's 2016 Best Self-Produced CD competition. Typical of Ted's outside-the-box approach to making original classic American blues 'n' roots music, the album was recorded in a studio located in a military surplus tent in the woods on top of a mountain just outside Nashville.
