LOS ANGELES (Atlantic Records) - In stores today, URBAN LEGEND is the follow-up to T.I.?s breakthrough Grand Hustle/Atlantic premiere album, TRAP MUZIK, which debuted at No 4 on the Billboard 200 in August 2003. The RIAA gold set included the hits '24's,' 'Rubber Band Man' and 'Let's Get Away.'
URBAN LEGEND includes the explosive Swizz Beatz-produced single, 'Bring Em Out,' which is rapidly climbing up the national urban and CHR/Rhythmic charts, where it was No 1 most-added in its first week. The companion video has been added into rotation at MTV, and has been enjoying Sizzlin' play on MTV Jams and major spins at MTV2, where T.I. recently hosted the channel's hip-hop show.
It is the No 3 most-played video at BET and among the top ten most-requested clips daily on the channel's '106 & Park,' where T.I. will perform during this week?s 'Freestyle Friday' show. The video is also an 'Oven Fresh' clip on Fuse.
T.I. is also featured on the current Destiny?s Child smash single, 'Soldier.' The 'King of the South' made a special appearance with the group to perform the song on MTV's 'TRL' earlier this month. He also recently performed on a string of live dates with Jay-Z, who invited T.I. to join him on the road when R. Kelly dropped out of the tour.
The newest face of the Reebok Rbk campaign, T.I. will don the brand's S. Carter footwear collection, currently in stores. Jay-Z, also known as Shawn Carter, and Reebok partnered in 2002 to create the S. Carter collection. T.I. will be featured in an upcoming print ad wearing the S.
