Introducing Colours
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Victory Records is proud to announce the roster addition of COLOURS, a duo whose musical vision is all their own. The Florida-based pair and Diffuser.fm have partnered to unveil the first music video "Monster," coming from the forthcoming debut, Ivory, due out February 26th, 2016. Diffuser describes the track as "Fusing the sort of dark, electronic undertones of Purity Ring and Crosses with post-modern, Weeknd-tinged R&B, Colours have created a lush sound that's as dangerous as it is seductive."

COLOURS is the artistic collaboration of vocalist Kyle Tamo and drummer Morgan Alley. Introduced through associated musical projects, the two bonded over a priority to focus on nothing but art through music. Taking shape in 2012, both would settle on the beaches of Sarasota to create the enchanting musical experience known as COLOURS.

"Having only two members in COLOURS offers us a unique and advantageous opportunity when creating," divulges Tamo. "When too many people are working on a creative project, often personal preferences and risk have to be diluted for compromise."

COLOURS' first single and video is the illuminating track "Monster." "This music video gave us the opportunity to introduce the visual brand of COLOURS. As the project developed, it was crucial that we gave attention to detail in order to maintain cohesiveness," says Alley behind the lead-off single.

Entering the studio in January 2015 with producer Shaun Lopez (††† Crosses, Lupe Fiasco, Deftones), COLOURS began to develop Ivory. Of working with Lopez, Alley said, "Shaun has a great ear for tone. He was able to listen to the songs we created, understand the direction and breathe life into them."

The 11 compositions featured on Ivory, COLOURS first official release, will arrive on February 26, 2016. Pre-order the vinyl or CD today, and receive an instant download of "Monster."
