LOS ANGELES (Def Press Public Relations) - Here is an update from the West Coast, regarding Gregory Hutchinson AKA "Big Hutch." The producer/rapper is still in prison, serving a sentence for a conspiracy charge by the FBI and the DEA to traffic one thousand pounds of marijuana. He says he is doing fine, and he appreciates the well wishes he has received. Due to the federal system, Big Hutch has been moved from California to Nevada. Hiphop fans are urged to write to Hutch at the following address: Gregory Hutchinson #225903112 F.P.C. Nellis P.O. Box 9910 Las Vegas, NV 89191 Hutch, a musical innovator, was the first artist on the West Coast to have his music be called "G-funk," a term used by Tupac Shakur when they rapped together on the Above The Law track, "Call It What U Want." Hutch is among those that MC Eiht gives a shout out to on his current album, "Veterans Day." Hutch's latest release is "Live From The Ghetto" on Westworld/Activate Entertainment. Prayers are always welcome for Hutch and his family. Thanksgiving is a good season to send greetings to those who are not able to spend time with their loved ones, and fans are encouraged to write now, and during his stay there.
