NEW YORK (www.ghettopunk.com) - On Nov. 2nd 2004 the rap group the Lubbock Playaz Association released their new album Gentlemen... To Evil! and it's already causing a stir.
"The attention it's getting is quite unexpected,' says member and producer Fatty Fabulous. He continues, "I guess Texas has just been waiting for something like this."

This album has gotten great reviews and is something original in a time when a lot of rap sounds the same. Part of this is due to different styles thrown in on each song. There's the dirty south anthem "Let it be Known" featuring Lubbock legend Lil' Melv; there's the guitar thrashing "Bringin' Noise" as well as a strait punk rock track and a reggae instrumental.
Some of the success is also found in their deep and sometimes controversial lyrics. "We try to focus on social and political problems on some songs while just having fun on other tracks" says Fatty.
There's definitely something here for everybody. For more information and free mp3 downloads go to https://www.ghettopunk.com/
