NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - US Rapper Eminem with his new album 'Encore' held onto the No. 1 spot on The Billboard 200 US Album Chart after its first full week of retail sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Eminem's fourth album sold 871,000 copies during its second week in US stores.
The R&B Supergirls Destiny's Child with the latest album 'Destiny Fulfilled' took No 2, rappers Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz from Atlanta No 3 and Clay Aiken (with 'Merry Christmas With Love') scores at No 4, the biggest debut week for any 'Holiday' album in the SoundScan era (which began in 1991).
According to Music Industry experts, U2's new album 'How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" which was released to stores this week, it is expected to hit 1 million units in its first week!

Here's the countdown of the Top 10 albums for the week ended Sunday:
1. Encore - Eminem (871,000 copies)
2. Destiny Fulfilled - Destiny's Child (497,000)
3. Crunk Juice - Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz (363,000)
4. Merry Christmas With Love - Clay Aiken (270,000)
5. Greatest Hits - Shania Twain (232,000)
6. R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece - Snoop Dogg (225,000)
