NEW YORK (Ja Rule Fans Website) - Ja Rule's manager has been accused in New York of laundering more than $1 million in drug money, according to NY Post. Ronald Robinson, 29, was arrested outside his office at Murder Inc., the embattled music label run by hip-hop mogul Irv Gotti Lorenzo. The label is at the center of a wide-ranging investigation of drug and financial crimes and several murders. Robinson was arraigned in federal court and released on $500,000 bond. His attorney Stacey Richman said Robinson will dispute the charges. Prosecutors refused to elaborate on the indictment unsealed Wednesday, and federal agents hope to recruit witnesses in the Murder Inc. probe. Also, bookkeeper Cynthia Brent was indicted over a week ago on laundering over $1 million in drug money and tampering with cash deposits. The recording label has been under investigations since January 2003 when New York police raided The Inc.'s offices and recording studio. Ja Rule's new album "R.U.L.E." debuted at No. 7 on the charts this week.
