New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Norwegian Electronic Producer MadZeN has made his Treehouse Tribe Debut with smooth Trance single, "Lightshifter"! Reflecting influence by such artists as Armin van Buuren and Paul Van Dyk, and with a high energy beat and deep, pulsating synths, "Lightshifter" manages to be both dark and uplifting, but wholly infectious for dancefloors and house parties alike.
While working on another track of mine, I realized it was sunrise; during the sunrise I saw how light shifted in every direction, so I found inspiration in the lights and the sunrise and out of it came "Lightshifter"...I'm honored to sign "Lightshifter" to such an amazing label like Treehouse, it's a dream coming true. - MadZeN
Music has always been a part of MadZeN's life while growing up in a small town in Norway called Asker. He early fell in love with electronic music by radio shows and CD's from artists like: John 00 Fleming, Armin van Buuren, Dj Tiesto, Dj Stigma,
Paul Van Dyk and many more. These shows and cd's inspired him to quickly choose a path into the clubbing scene in Norway.
So in 2008 everything changed. He met Jonas Brevik and Jan-Erik Jensen, two techno, tech trance enthusiasts who were looking for a collaboration. And that's where he started up as a dj, learning from these guys, watching tutorials, and practicing every day gave results in a warm up gig for Jonas Steur, Pakito, and Haddaway.
MadZeN got more and more influenced by the harder and darker sounds of Trance. John O' Callaghan, Bryan Kearney, Sean Tyas, and
Simon Patterson fast become favorite producers and Dj's. The last year he has become known for his deep dark flow and harder sounds. Psy, dark and uplifting, the willing to blend styles and genres has favorite become signature mark on his mixes. Even having big success as guest mixer and had a track released in 2014, called "First Touch", a collaboration together With Al X, a young talented producer and dj.
