BURBANK, CA. (Warner Bros. Records) - One of "the most influential bands of their generation" (Entertainment Weekly), Green Day will perform their latest album, "American Idiot," in its entirety at the Joint in Las Vegas on December 7th.

Musically aggressive and lyrically ambitious, "American Idiot" is a "truly great rock opera" (Rolling Stone). Part victim of circumstance and part victim of political climate, "American Idiot" follows Jesus of Suburbia through his confusion, alienation and disillusionment, while fueling that "rocking out in front of a mirror when you're 15" energy Green Day are famous for.

"American Idiot" debuted at No 1 on the Billboard charts, and topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan and Australia. The title track from the album quickly climbed to No 1 on the Modern Rock Chart and is Top 5 at Active Rock.
MTV.com premiered the album with THE LEAK, both MTV and MTV2 deemed the video Buzzworthy and Green Day dropped by TRL on November 1st.

The band has scheduled performances on VH1's "Big In 2004" on December 5th and the "Billboard Music Awards" on December 8th. They are currently touring the United States with New Found Glory and Sugarcult.
