New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Buddy Lee Attractions, Inc. (BLA) has announced the addition of the soulful indie recording artist and guitar virtuoso Justin Forrest to its talent roster. Forrest is a formidable complement to BLA's bill of multi-talented, contemporary singer/songwriter recording trendsetters; he joins Millennial, Radio Romance, MODOC, Sonia Leigh and Brooke Hogan who are also newly signed to the historical talent agency's roster.
"Justin is an exceptional talent; he's a young artist with a bright future who is laying the ground work to become a career entertainer," notes
BLA representing agent Mike Meade. "Our staff is proud to be a part of his team; we are excited to see where Justin's raw and refreshing music takes him."
The talented 22-year-old music maker picked up his first guitar at seven years old. He officiated his entry into the Nashville music scene in 2012 with a win at the SESAC Next Project Showcase (highlighting up-and-coming writers). In December 2013, he introduced his debut album entitled CHAPTERS (produced by Grammy-award winning Chad Brown) featuring the soulful pop-meets-rock track "City Life." The tune captured the attention of Nashville's most popular independent radio station-Lightning 100. Justin made his radio debut on the station's local "615" show which segued to a Justin Forrest "New Artist of the Week" feature. Popular among listeners with an eclectic musical appetite, "City Life" also ranked at No. 5 on the WRLT Top 100 Hit List and the top "Shazam" song in the Nashville region. Justin Forrest was recently named one of Nashville Lifestyle's "Top 25 Artists to Watch in 2015;" to the same degree, he landed a spread in SESAC Magazine (2015 Summer Issue).
