NEW YORK (The Orchard/ www.theorchard.com) - The Orchard, the world's leading distributor and marketer of independent music, announced today a worldwide distribution partnership with record label Bob's Kid's Music owned by children's recording artist Bob McGrath.
Through The Orchard's unparalleled distribution and marketing platform, the extensive Bob's Kid's Music catalogue of classic and original children's recordings will be digitally distributed and actively marketed in the leading global digital music services.

Bob McGrath is a beloved figure to millions of children around the world. In addition to his role on the landmark children's program, "Sesame Street," McGrath is a successful recording artist and concert performer. McGrath's latest recording, Sing Me a Story, features original material in styles ranging from Pop/South African to Country and Reggae. His previous recordings have sold more than half a million units. Titles include: The Baby Record; If You're Happy and You Know It; Sing Along With Bob Vol. I & II; and Bob's Favorite Street Songs. McGrath has received both Parents' Choice and American Library Association awards.

"Going digital is even more fun than being invited into Oscar's trash can and stepping on his rotten egg collection," said Bob McGrath. "I look forward to my music being available on The Orchard and establishing a long relationship."

"Bob's music is a unique and outstanding addition to The Orchard," said Greg Scholl, chief executive of The Orchard and managing director of Dimensional Associates, the company which owns both The Orchard and eMusic.
"The addition of these classics to our already extensive children's catalogue, and an ongoing partnership with one of the most creative forces in children's programming, allows us to help our digital music store partners merchandise for their customers the best catalogue in children's music available anywhere."
