New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Company) Rude Records is happy to announce the signing of American pop-punk band Light Years, based in Cleveland, OH.

The band is currently mixing and mastering their highly-anticipated second full-length album, due out this fall.

Produced by Will Yip (Anthony Green, Balance and Composure, Circa Survive, La Dispute, Title Fight and more) it already puts Light Years as a band to look out for in the future, not mentioning the success and buzz their debut album "I Won't Hold It Against You" had to offer.

Light Years is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Pat Kennedy, bassist Tommy Englert, guitarist Andrew Foerst and drummer Kent Sliney all of whom have graduated from the teenage angst that fuels most of their peers, instead turning their focus to the problems that face them in their mid-20s.

"I Won't Hold This Against You", their 2013 debut LP released via Paper + Plastick Records, dwelled on the inescapable past while looking for ways to heal the scars incurred while coming of age. Additionally, in 2014 the band released a five-song EP entitled 'Temporary' via Animal Style Records.

On a break from the studio sessions, the band will be headlining a US tour this summer. Check out the dates below!

Their second full-length album is currently scheduled to be released via Rude Records worldwide this fall.
