New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The stars continue to rise for singer-songwriter RICK MONROE. Monroe has signed an agreement with SESAC to represent his songwriting interests. Meanwhile, Monroe will become the newest spokesperson for Westone Audio, the industry leading manufacturers of premium headphones and other in-ear audio technologies.
Monroe signed the SESAC deal April 15, and the rising star is excited to get to work with SESAC in his corner. SESAC is the powerhouse performing rights organization (PRO), and it represents the interests of thousands of songwriters and performers. It's a relationship he has looked forward to since the beginning of his career.
"I've always looked at SESAC as being 'the place to be'," said Monroe. "It's an honor to finally be added to their amazing list of writers."
In addition to inking a representation deal with SESAC, Monroe has signed on to become the latest celebrity endorser of Westone, manufacturers of premium in-ear headphones for audiophiles, as well as the music industry's go-to brand for custom-fit stage monitors and hearing protection.
"Everybody in the industry knows Westone is top notch," Monroe said. "I'm excited to be a part of getting that message out to a wider audience."
Monroe will have plenty of chances to get out that message in the near future. In addition to maintaining a busy tour schedule, Monroe willperform during the upcoming CMA
Music Festival on the Belk stage at the
Music City Walk of Fame. His hit singles continue to gain audience, as well, with "Fire's Out" earning him Top 40
