On the top floor of the luxurious Beverly Hilton Hotel, overlooking the dramatic nighttime skyline of beautiful Los Angeles, CA, Per Wickstrom had an in-depth conversation with the evening's host, star of "The Real Housewives of
Orange County" Gretchen Christine Rossi.
In the midst of Durkin Entertainment's EcoLuxe Lounge and the "Salute to the Oscars" celebration, sponsored by Choices Recovery, a holistic treatment center for substance abuse founded by Wickstrom, Rossi felt that the evening's interviews would not be complete without a few words about the purpose of Choices from the man who had hosted these daylong events honoring the 2015 Oscar nominees.
Taking Per to a quiet corner of the rooftop
Stardust Penthouse, where the EcoLuxe Lounge was held, Gretchen asked him about his reasons for wanting to sponsor these events. "We wanted to bring up the awareness here in LA that addiction is in our lives," Per said, "and that everybody's got to look at it, and we've got to figure out a solution. It was really neat that we had the ability to talk about Choices, that we give people a choice in their recovery and we don't lock them down into one type or modality (of treatment)."
Held on February 21, 2015 and organized by Debbie Durkin, LA's leading producer of sustainable product placement in TV and film, the EcoLuxe Lounge and the "Salute to the Oscars" celebration was a gathering of some of the world's top providers of ecologically sound and socially conscious products and services. Hosted by AMP Radio's Chris Booker during the day and Gretchen Christine Rossi at night, Choices Recovery held dozens of interviews with many of the notable Hollywood regulars who were in attendance at these events.
