Lover's Rock Singer Sophia Brown To Headline Connecticut Concert
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sultry lovers rock singer Sophia Brown, who delivered a short but scintillating performance at the 2015 Rebel Salute in Richmond, St Ann has a busy work schedule for the rest of 2015.

She is currently in studio working on tracks for her soon to be release album and will make the trek to Connecticut in May to headline an event bill 'Sophia Brown In Concert' that takes place on Friday, May 8th at the West Indian Social Club in Hartford. The Dream Team Entertainment event will also feature opening acts Addi Wallace and Soulworks backed by Amandla reggae band.Two days later (May 10th) she will be a performer/presenter at the 6th annual Linkage Awards where we she won a 'Lifetime Achievement Award' last year. The 'Gimme That Good Love' singer then returns home to begin preparing for summer tours of the USA and Europe.

"I am really excited to perform at these two tri-state area events. I have been doing lots of interviews and looking forward to a weekend of great performances" Brown said.

Things are really going great for the 'Gimme That Good Love' singer. Her R&B flavored single 'Rain Over Me' made it to the #3 spot on the New Style Radio, 98.7 FM chart in Birmingham, England and also made it in the Star Top Ten chart in New York earlier this year. She also inked a one year deal with Entertainment Works, a Belgium based agency that coordinate client bookings, provides management, marketing and publicity services to recording and performing artists in Europe, Africa, United States and the Middle East. Entertainment Works clients include Friends of Distinction ("Grazin' In The Grass," "Going In Circles" - both Gold Records); Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's Bernie Worrell (Talking Heads, founding member of Parliament Funkadelic); Errol Blackwood (founder of and formerly the lead vocalist/bass player of Canadian Reggae band Messenjah); Aaron Silk; singer Tony Anthony; Triston Palmer; Clinton Fearon (formerly with The Gladiators); Peter Broggs; Ras Midas; Prince Alla; Nasio Fontaine; Winston Grennan; Jerri Jheto and others.
