A Forever Recovery Releases Documentary Series On 'A Day In The Life' Of Substance Abuse Treatment
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Located on St. Mary's Lake in Battle Creek, MI, A Forever Recovery is an open-ended, holistic, results-based substance abuse treatment center that focuses on addressing the underlying causes of addiction. With an effective program that can be adapted to fit the needs of each individual that comes to the recovery center seeking help in overcoming addiction, A Forever Recovery seeks to encompass every person, regardless of cultural or religious backgrounds.

To showcase a little of what the program and facility have to offer, the A Forever Recovery media team asked Charlie, a recovering substance abuser who has recently graduated from the treatment center, if they could interview him and film him going about a normal day during his stay. Using footage and audio from these sessions, A Forever Recovery has released a series of short, documentary-style videos under the title of "Charlie's Experience."

"This video series was designed to help those who might be struggling with addiction to make the right decision and get the help that they need," says A Forever Recovery's CEO Per Wickstrom. "By highlighting the journey towards recovery of a person that many people can relate to, we aim to show others that there is help available to them, that there is hope for the future. Even if they choose to enroll at a different treatment center, we want to show them that recovery is possible."

The Charlie videos let the viewer hear about some of Charlie's favorite parts of the program at A Forever Recovery and see some of the activities that take place on a normal day at the treatment center. They also highlight some of the dramatic lifestyle changes that Charlie made while he was working through his recovery program. These short documentaries are helpful for people who are trying to decide where they want to go if they need help overcoming addiction.
