Jimi Hendrix auction at the London's Marquee Club

LONDON, UK (www.cooperowen.com) - The first in the series of JIMI HENDRIX auctions will take place live on Saturday 20th November at the Marquee Club, Leicester Square, London at 3.00pm GMT.

The auction will comprise further items from the vast collection – not currently on exhibit - including rare and early posters, handbills, tickets, merchandising, autographs, personal items, one of Jimi Hendrix's guitars given to close associates Bob & Kathy Levine, as well as clothing and personal effects purchased directly from the late Noel Redding and more.

Other highlights:
* A rare unheard studio session featuring Hendrix with Jack Bruce and Buddy Miles recorded in L.A. in 1968
* The studio chair on which Hendrix was perched for the cover of the album entitled "Soundtrack recordings from the film Jimi Hendrix - Experience"
* A collection of black and white photographs of Hendrix on stage at the Royal Albert Hall sold with copyright
* Hendrix's personal, annotated copy of the album "McGough and McGear" to be sold on behalf of Oxfam
