NEW YORK (Atlantic Records) - Brooklyn rapper Fabolous is responsible for some of the hottest club bangers and party anthems, like the 2003 hits 'Young'n' and 'Can't Deny It,' but this time around, Fab is ready to show his more thoughtful side. With 'Breathe,' the first single from his upcoming album REAL TALK, he sends a message to his fans. Says Fab, 'I named it 'Breathe' because I want people to exhale the old music, and inhale my new, more serious self.' REAL TALK drops on November 9th, and Fabolous says that with this album he wanted to bring it back to his hometown of New York, putting the feel of the five boroughs at the core of the album. Although he recruited some producers from down South for some of the tracks, Fabolous says, 'The music goes everywhere, but it all comes back to New York.'
With 'Breathe' already getting heavy play on MTV, BET and radio stations nationwide, it won't take long for people to get Fab's message. For lots more news on Fabolous, check out www.fabolous.com!
