Reggae Turn Gospel Singer Creating Waves With New Single 'Jesus A Di Don'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Remember singer Sasha who had that big combination dancehall hit in 2002 with Sean Paul titled 'I'm Still In Love?' The song ruled reggae and urban charts globally reaching #6 in the UK, #13 on the US R&B chart and #14 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was also a top ten hit in Italy, Ireland and Switzerland.

In 2008, Sister Sasha, born Karen Chin left the secular world for what she hoped would be a more rewarding spiritual career as a gospel singer. Late last year she released her debut gospel album titled 'Break Free,' that was produced by her company Sister Sasha Ministries.

"Jesus A Di Don" one of the break out singles from the 13 song disc seem to have struck a responsive cord with music fans and is creating waves on radio stations in New York, Atlanta, Florida, Jamaica and even in parts of Africa. The video for the song was released a few weeks ago and is getting rave reviews as well.

"I have to give thanks to God for really opening the door for me with this song" an excited Sasha exclaimed.

"Everyone is really loving the track from both gospel and secular worlds. I have to thanks radio jocks like Ellise Kelly, Brother Gary, DJ Roy, Brother Bunji and all the other radio jocks from around the world for all the love and support they have given me. I am just so, so thankful" she said.

To capitalized on her return to the limelight, Sasha is New York bound where she will join 2nd Chance, Shirley Willlis, Evang, Natalie Evans, Maxine Duncan, Daughters of Zion Dance Group and Sister Humphrey as headline performers at a gospel event billed "God Alone To Get The Glory." The event which will be hosted by Bro Gary, takes place on Friday, March 27 at the Presbyterian Church of St Albans, 190-04 119th Avenue in Queens, NY.
