Best Drug Rehabilitation Staff And Patients Participate In Annual Walk For Warmth
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) As part of Best Drug Rehabilitation's ongoing commitment to find ways to give back to the local community, patients and staff members from the recovery center participated in FiveCAP, Inc's Annual "Walk for Warmth." On Saturday, February 21, 2015, communities throughout Mason, Lake, Manistee and Newaygo Counties in Michigan came together in their yearly effort to help raise funds for elderly residents and low-income families who may be struggling with home heating costs during the harsh winter months.

The patients and staff members of Best Drug Rehabilitation braved the cold weather to join in on this fundraising walk to help provide support for those residents of these areas who might otherwise have to make the tough choice between heating their home and paying other necessary bills, such as rent or food costs.

"With recovery from addiction comes a change from the old selfish ways of life and learning how to give back to those who need help," says Best Drug Rehabilitation's Per Wickstrom. "Many of our patients have spent months or years caring only about themselves or their addictions. Helping others is the key to staying sober, and is a big part of the recovery process."
