Munch Ali is a 23 year-old hip-hop artist that hails from Montclair, New Jersey. Ali started his music expedition at age 10 after seeing a professional studio in his hometown that his close uncle was recording in. Shortly after being exposed to this, Ali began recording on cassette tapes at home and participating in after school rap battles. Hence after winning some rap battles and freestyling after school, Ali quickly gained a reputation around town as a talented upcoming artist.

His nickname "Munch" came from a hometown friend that always told Ali he "ate instrumentals alive" when ever he spit. Later on his uncle gave him the name "Ali" because of his punch lines and unbeatable presence on the mic. Thus, the name "Munch Ali" was formed.

Today Munch Ali is part of Training Camp, an independent record label based out of New York, and is striving to be one of the greatest rap artists of his time. Be sure to look out for this nonpareil Jersey talent.
