Three "Morning" Agenda Items Released For CRS 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country Radio Seminar has released details surrounding three agenda items scheduled for Country Radio Seminar 2015 (Feb. 25-27, 2015). Programming Mentoring Breakfast, Friday'sManager's Breakfast and The Stars Come Out In The Morning are newly released events that have been added to the three-day agenda.

Programming Mentoring Breakfast, scheduled for Thurs., Feb. 26 at 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., will provide attendees the opportunity to sit down with experienced PDs and Consultants who can help advise and educate with fresh, new ideas. Confirmed participants for the one-on-one session are Ken Boesen, PD, WKIS/Miami (currently Beasley, to become CBS); Michael Bryan, iHeartMedia/Nashville OM, WSIX PD and iHeartRadio Digital Brand Coordinator; Grover Collins, PD, WUBE/Cincinnati (Hubbard); Charlie Cook, Cumulus Nashville OM and WKDF & WSM-FM PD; Shelly Easton, PD, WXTU/Philadelphia (Beasley); Steve Geofferies, VP/Programming, iHeartMedia Phoenix (including KNIX); Ed Hill, PD, KMPS/Seattle (CBS); Clay Hunnicutt, EVP/GM National Programming Platforms, iHeartMedia, New York; Phil Hunt, President, Hunt Media Strategies; Buzz Jackson, PD, KIIM/Tucson (Cumulus); Jeff Kapugi, PD, WUSN/Chicago(CBS); Bruce Logan, PD, KILT/Houston (CBS); Mike Moore, PD, KWJJ/Portland (Entercom); and Meg Stevens, iHeartMedia/Washington-Baltimore VP/Programming & WMZQ/Washington PD.

Friday's Manager's Breakfast, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27 at 8:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., offers registrants the opportunity to sit down with influential people in various areas of the radio industry. Several roundtable discussions will take place, and will be centered on the topics of radio management, sales, programming/consulting and ratings/research, digital and legal. Erica Farberis the moderator for the breakfast and participants are Owner/GM: Bob Leighton, CEO/GM, Leighton Broadcasting, St. Cloud, MN; Legal: David Oxenford, partner, Wilkinson Baker Knauer; Washington, DC; Programming: Joel Raab, owner, Country Radio Consultants; Langhorne, PA; Ratings: Bill Rose, SVP/Audio Client Services, Nielsen; New York; Sales: Matt Sunshine, EVP, Center for Sales Strategy; Tampa, FL; and Management: Rob Williams, VP/Market Manager, Greater Media/Boston.

The Stars Come Out In The Morning, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 27 at 2:00 p.m.-2:50 p.m., will feature top morning show personalities, covering everything from content development and workflow to social interaction. Randy Lane, President of The Randy Lane Company, will moderate the panel, which features Bobby Bones, morning personality at iHeartMedia & WSIX/Nashville (Country), Dave & Jimmy, morning personalities at WNCI/Columbus, OH (Hot AC/CHR) and Scott Shannon, morning personality at WCBS-FM/New York (Classic Hits). Attendees will experience an up-close-and-entertaining look into how and why these talents are so successful. The personalities will also discuss the "blank canvas" of four hours to fill each day.
