New York, NY (Top40 Charts) UK-Scandinavian solo artist Karim Theilgaard releases the music video for third single "Love Stains". Directed by Michael Beddoes and DOP Sean Hunt the video cuts between a dingy strip club and an elegant theatre.
Karim Explains:
"Love Stains" was written during the time I lived in New York's Lower East Side. I used to walk the narrow streets with their neon lights reflecting on the wet pavement while observing the complex cast of people populating them. I thought about how they fought to achieve their goals - whatever they may have been. For some that goal was "customers", for others it may have been coke. For the majority, it was to survive while keeping their dreams alive. In this type of environment there are a great many who possess extraordinary talent yet not a lot who will look past their exterior and really see the potential therein. It is around this contrast "Love Stains" revolves.
The song itself features delicately simple, melodic textures punctuated by roaring guitars as debut'ed on Karim's first single "The Way We Used to Be". The video for the debut single has already gained over 100,000 views since its release, aptly setting the stage for Karim Theilgaard's new video for "Love Stains".
"Love Stains" is available for download on iTunes and all major streaming services.
