Aloe Blacc, Robin Thicke, More To Perform At Grammy Foundation Legacy Concert
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The GRAMMY Foundation will host Lean On Me: A Celebration Of Music And Philanthropy, the 17th Annual GRAMMY Foundation Legacy Concert, during GRAMMY Week on Feb. 5, 2015, at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles. Performers include GRAMMY winners Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Lauper and Willie Nelson; GRAMMY-nominated artist Robin Thicke; and singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc, with more artists to be announced shortly.

Lean On Me will bring together an extraordinary range of artists for a triumphant and unique evening featuring live musical performances and archival footage from the GRAMMY Foundation's preservation grant archives. The event explores the evolution of music's role in advancing philanthropic causes and celebrates the visionaries behind the creation of those iconic songs and concerts.

"The GRAMMY Foundation Legacy Concert honors significant influences in music history and highlights our year-round activities in support of our mission to protect our cultural legacy," said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of The Recording Academy and the GRAMMY Foundation. "This event was created to underscore the value of preserving our rich musical heritage so that future generations can continue to benefit from a deep appreciation of this history."

The evening's musical director will be Darrell Brown, songwriter/producer and GRAMMY Foundation Board member. Portnow will be in attendance, along with other prominent music industry leaders and members of The Recording Academy.

Tickets are $45 per person and admission includes a post-concert reception. Tickets may be purchased online or by calling 323.908.0607.

The GRAMMY Foundation Legacy Concert is part of the GRAMMY Week series of events, culminating with Music's Biggest Night, the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which will take place on Sunday, Feb. 8 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8-11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
