George Harrison's 'The Apple Years 1968-75' To Make Global Debut In High Definition Digital Audio On November 24, 2014
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Released on CD and digitally in September, the new George Harrison collection, The Apple Years 1968-75, will make its global high definition digital audio debut next week. The collection features Harrison's first six solo studio albums, Wonderwall Music, Electronic Sound, All Things Must Pass, Living In The Material World, Dark Horse, and Extra Texture (Read All About It), originally released between 1968 and 1975 on The Beatles' Apple Records label. Mastered in hi-res 96kHz/24bit digital resolution for the first time from the original master tapes, The Apple Years 1968-75 will be available for purchase from all major high definition digital audio providers on November 24.

In an initiative overseen by George's son, Dhani Harrison, the 'Apple Years' collection's six albums were restored and remastered at Lurssen Mastering in Los Angeles by a GRAMMY Award-winning team of engineers including Paul Hicks, Gavin Lurssen, and Reuben Cohen. Wonderwall Music, Living In The Material World, Dark Horse, and Extra Texture (Read All About It) are expanded with previously unreleased or rare additional tracks, while All Things Must Pass includes five bonus tracks which were first released in 2001.
