Ricardo Arjona spoke for the first time about the details of his U.S. VIAJE TOUR, which went on sale last week. He also revealed that the tour will kick off in Puerto Rico on Friday, February 20 at The Coliseum. Tickets go on sale in Puerto Rico Saturday, November 15 at 12:01am. At the press conference on stage at the Arena, Arjona was surrounded by huge LED screens, props and other staging from his tour, which is one of the most ambitiously artistic productions ever undertaken by a Latin American artist. He debuted production elements in a wide ranging interview with Billboard Magazine Executive
Director of Latin Content and Programming Leila Cobo, Arjona, who has sold more than 20 million albums and is one of the most successful and respected Latin-American singer songwriters of all time, spoke of the incredible success of his VIAJE TOUR which has sold over 500,000 tickets in Argentina and Mexico. Arjona also took questions from the audience.
U.S. fans have not seen the legendary singer/songwriter perform on a tour of this scale ever and the media attending the conference were blown away. VIAJE TOUR is produced by Cardenas Marketing Network (CMN), which produces concerts and sporting events worldwide.
Arjona has created a complete universe on stage for his VIAJE TOUR. The ambitious production needs more than 200 people nightly to execute his vision, which includes 40 tons of scenery, 200 robotic lights, and a high definition LED screen measuring more than 20 meters in height. It is one of the largest productions ever, taking 27 trucks to move the world-class production from country to country in Latin America.

Ricardo Arjona has always been an explorer, having journeyed musically through a diverse universe of musical influences and a fearless lyrical style, addressing matters of love, racism and immigration in eloquent verse that has attracted a huge following. In Argentina alone, his VIAJE TOUR attracted more than 200,000 concertgoers to the GEBA Stadium Buenos Aires, breaking all previous records in the stadium.
