New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Education Through
Music (ETM), a nonprofit dedicated to putting music programs into New York City public schools, is proud to announce the ETM Associates' third annual benefit party with musical performances by the Dust Rays (featuring
Captain Kirk and Mark Kelley of The Roots), J. Period, and Jennah Bell, at Rough Trade on November 12th. All proceeds directly benefit 20,000 children in New York City that would otherwise not have access to high-quality music education as a core subject.
In addition to an open bar and snacks, including tacos, organic salads, seafood snacks, and gourmet passed hors d'oeuvres, attendees will enjoy music and dancing. The evening will also feature prizes from sponsors including Brooklyn Winery, Electric Picks, Verboten, Grain Audio, Franny's, The Guggenheim Museum, and BAM, as well as the ever popular photo booth for those wishing to take a memento home with them.
Tickets are on sale at roughtradenyc.com and Ticketmaster.com for $65 each, with all profits directly benefiting ETM. The event will be hosted at Rough Trade, located at 64 North 9th Street, Brooklyn, NY, from 7 to 11 p.m. Food, beer, and bespoke cocktails will be served courtesy of Sixpoint Brewery, Slow & Low, Creme Yvette, Ilegal Mezcal, Luke's Lobster, Dos Toros, sweetgreen, and Between the Bread. The event is 21 plus only.
