The Barnum Meserve Releases New 'Colours' Video
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Vision Music Promotions) The Barnum Meserve are a British epic rock/pop band that feature a strong orchestral section, who formed in Nottingham in November 2007. They will release their debut album 'The Barnum Meserve' in Q1 of 2015, with the lead single 'Colours' released on 1st December 2014. The Band consists of: Leon Wiley (Piano/Vocals), Dylan Griffiths (Bass) and Paul Moss-Pearce (Drums). They offer something truly unique as there are very few bands that feature the dusky sounds of a piano in their music, and fewer still that do it as well as The Barnum Meserve.

The three met in Nottingham when Dylan took the train from his hometown of Twynn in Wales after hearing about the underground music scene there. He met Leon at arts college where they shared a passion for music. Soon after they formed a rock group called Splint and during one of their gigs they met Paul who was with his band, Prima Cura, who opened the show for them. This was the start of a new connection and in 2005 it all ended for Splint and Leon and Dylan soon fell into the world of 9 to 5.
In 2006 Leon began writing material in the back of his van where he was living at the time. The material soon became the sound which Leon had hoped for and in 2007 he contacted Dylan and Paul to discuss a side project that would later evolve to become The Barnum Meserve.

After many years of playing the guitar Leon decided to change to piano as he wanted the band to stand out from all the other rock groups. He wanted to create something surprisingly heavy without the use of electric guitars to support his haunting vocals. In November at their first rehearsal the sound instantly became epic, dark and atmospheric. Later in 2008 they added the string section and this was the beginning of the truly epic sounds of The Barnum Meserve.

Their incredible performances have earned the band impressive reviews:

"Together their sound is tight, well-developed and the grinding bass makes the floor shake." - Left Lion Magazine.

"Haunting piano tunes, topped by the emotional vocals, expanded string sections, and enhancing the powerful sound, bass and drum rhythms created the feeling of listening to the most epic movie soundtrack." - Me Plus One.

In, 2011 they released the first digital EP, Stories From The Paper House which was available for free download.
They followed this up with their 2012 EP release Broken Window, which features five songs with powerful and emotional vocals, dramatic drumming and amazing piano riffs.

During 2013 they finished writing and recording their debut album, and this should be released in Q1 of 2015, with the lead single 'Colours' released on 1st December 2014.
