LOS ANGELES (Artistry Music) - Rahsaan Patterson, gifted and talented vocalist, is set to release his eagerly-anticipated third album AFTER HOURS, October 26th on his Artistry Music label.

Featuring some of the singer/songwriter/producers best work to date, his new effort, After Hours is his third album in five years and represents a stunning creative leap forward for the soulful tenor who brings his distinctive artistry to a wide range of styles from pop to soul to jazz.

Since emerging in 1997, Rahsaan Patterson has become one of the premiere singer-songwriter-producers in contemporary music. His deeply expressive music and performances have earned him vast critical praise and a dedicated fanbase that extends throughout the world.
His new album After Hours - due October 26 on Artistry Music - was executive produced by Patterson.
Also serving as producers are Van Hunt, Jamey Jaz and features 11 new songs written by Patterson that set his free-flowing vocals, luminescent melodies and fervent introspection in a seamless mix of soul, pop, and R&B stylings.

After Hours reveals breathtaking new facets of this vocalists phenomenal talent and presents a funkier side of Patterson's multi-faceted persona than before. "This time around I wanted to take people deeper into the Rahsaan Patterson - I wanted people to see me in a party area. I always was doing the kind of party songs that the urban artists were doing, but my music has always been somewhat sophisticated. So with that came a perception that I must be very Adult Contemporary.
The truth is, I like to have a good time. I like to get out there. And I don't ever want to do what people expect of me," commented Patterson.
"The result is, I think, an album that shows people a new aspect of me, one that they have previously only had glimpses of."
