New York City Operetta Company On Musical Mission - Re-Popularizing American Composer Victor Herbert
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Victor Herbert Renaissance Project LIVE!, the world's only production company uniquely devoted to American music composer Victor Herbert, begins its first-ever season with a kick-off concert titled Art Is Calling For Me on November 20, 2014 followed by a performance of Herbert's stunning 1899 operetta Cyrano de Bergerac on February 26, 2015 and concluding with America's finest operetta Naughty Marietta, April 23, 2015. The performances will be at 8pm in Christ & St. Stephen's Church, 120 W. 69th St, NYC, NY.

VHRP LIVE! was formed in 2014 to produce -- for the first time in 100 years -- a full orchestral reading of Victor Herbert's entire 1911 Grand Opera Natoma. Now, the company's Artistic Director Alyce Mott and Music Director Michael Thomas present a season of three eagerly anticipated evenings showcasing their selections from Herbert's most relevant works arranged to grab the audience's attention and reawaken affection for the American master's original musical genius.

As of press time, a roster of the finest actor/singers including Olga Xanthopoulou, Vira Slywotsky, Stephen Faulk, Eapen Leubner, Nathan Brian, David Seatter, John Greenleaf, as well as new voices Lara Ryan, Marcy Richardson, Amy Maude Helfer, Glenn Seven Allen, Matthew Wages, Georga Osborne and Justin Ryan are confirmed to perform in the VHRP LIVE! no-frills-style productions in Christ and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, an acoustically-excellent 400-seat venue well known for its robust and professionally acclaimed musical programming.

The online box office at https://www.artful.ly/vhrp-live offers Season Passes and Single Tickets ranging in price from $20.00 to $35.00 per performance, reflecting discounts to accommodate students, seniors, and union card-holders. Tickets will also be sold at the door on performance days. Tax-deductible contributions are invited and can be made online in addition to admission.
