Carlos Vives #1 In Latin Airplay With 'Cuando Nos Volvamos A Encontrar,' The Duet With Marc Anthony Is A 3X Latin Grammy Nominated Track
MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts / d.baron Media) Carlos Vives's latest single, "Cuando nos volvamos a encontrar" (When We Meet Again), his 3x Grammy nominated duet with Marc Anthony, hit the Top Spot on Billboard's Latin Airplay chart this week. This marks the Colombian superstar's fifth #1 radio single since the release of Más + Corazón (2013) and Más + Corazón Profundo (2014), his top Latin Grammy-winning and Latin Grammy-nominated albums. Vives has been voted the most influential music artist in Colombia based on the spirit of his music and his work on behalf of the indigenous and Afro-Colombian people in the country.

Carlos reacted, "I have the same feeling as I did when I was a child and my parents showed me their love. I am grateful and feel as if my fans and my people are showing me that I am their son, the son of vallenato. I hope they celebrate with me, our fifth Number One since returning to the radio."

Walter Kolm, Vives' manager, "Carlos' extraordinary and wholely original songs, aside from being sales and radio success, are a musical inspiration to a new generation of fans, just as they were 20 years ago, when he first emerged."

"Cuando nos volvamos a encontrar" is the second single from Más + Corazón Profundo which just received 6 Latin Grammy nominations, making Vives a top nominee this year. He is currently on his Más + Corazón Profundo Tour which is the most successful tour in Colombia. 200,000 fans in Colombia and 150,000 in Guayaquil (Ecuador), Nicaragua and El Salvador have celebrated his world class production and joyful performance. The tour continues Wednesday in Honduras and Chile next Sunday with with Marc Anthony and Juan Luis Guerra.
